Samoens ... is a lively, listed French Alpine town just one hour from Geneva, with ski lifts linking it directly to the huge Grand Massif ski area - or mountain bike area as we prefer to think of it..Samoens is a bustling Alpine market town throughout the year, unlike many of the tacky, purpose built resorts designed specifically for winter, with plenty of bars and restaurants open well into the small hours.
